01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Keeping the rolls together, slice the entire block horizontally with a serrated knife to create a top and bottom layer.
03 - Arrange the bottom half of the rolls on the baking sheet. Evenly layer the sliced cheddar cheese over the rolls. Add deli ham or turkey if desired.
04 - Cover with the top half of the rolls. In a small bowl, combine melted butter with mustard, honey, and garlic powder if using. Brush the mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
05 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is fully melted and the tops are golden brown.
06 - Let cool for 2 minutes. Slice into individual mini sandwiches with a serrated knife and serve warm.
