04 - Lay one slice of cheese on each roll bottom, overlapping as needed to cover evenly.
05 - Place the tops of the rolls back on.
06 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, dried parsley, and salt.
07 - Brush the butter mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
08 - Bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
09 - Remove from oven, let cool slightly, then cut into individual sandwiches. Serve warm.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • Twelve golden buttery sandwiches come together in under 30 minutes with almost zero active work
  • The sweetness of Hawaiian rolls meets salty melted cheese in a way that makes people reach for seconds before theyve even finished their first
  • They reheat beautifully so you can make them ahead and still serve warm gooey comfort food
02 -
  • Do not skip keeping the rolls connected while slicing them seriously it saves so much time and keeps the cheese neatly contained
  • If your cheese slices are smaller than the rolls use two slices per sandwich to ensure full coverage
03 -
  • If the tops are browning too fast tent loosely with foil for the last few minutes
  • Room temperature butter melts more evenly if you remember to take it out ahead of time
